Butterfly Garden Walks

Enjoy the Butterfly Garden at Hagerman NWR with garden docents on hand to help you identify the Texas native plants and the butterflies in the garden.   Special activities for families available: scavenger hunts, meet the Metamorphosis Puppet and more. The garden is free of charge and open to the public from sunrise to sunset everyday of the year; garden walk events are scheduled periodically from April through October.  Come alone or bring the family!   

FREE and open to the public; funded by Donations and powered by Volunteers.

Registration appreciated, but not required.  Please check back, time may change.

Events and activities hosted by the Friends of Hagerman are funded by donations and powered solely by volunteers.  There are no fees for admission to the refuge or parking; the refuge is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year, drive on any road unless gated.
